Partnerships

With equity as a goal, ICF-WA Partnership team strives to increase awareness and access to coaching through our Pro Bono program, availing coaching to community members who may otherwise not have access to, or the resources to, engage in coaching.

What is a Pro Bono coach?

To qualify, a Pro Bono coach holds a current ACC or higher credential, has minimum five years’ coaching experience (or equivalent), holds active professional liability insurance, and currently works as a certified coach in some capacity.

What does a Pro Bono coach do?

Coaches are matched with their student or mentee by our Partnerships program leads. Coaches provide between 3 and 4 one-hour sessions per student / mentee over a specific period of time. Students / mentees initiate and drive the process from agreement signing to scheduling sessions, with both parties taking responsibility for an effective and enriching engagement. Both Coach and student/mentee complete concluding surveys that support ongoing program improvements.

How do you become a pro bono coach?

ICF-WA sends out periodic calls for pro bono coaches, so please keep a lookout for those requests and complete the interest form to get engaged.
