Overview:  Mindsight – A mindful approach to coaching and well-being

The work of leading neuroscientist and psychiatrist Dan Siegel, founder of the Mindsight Institute and father of Interpersonal Neurobiology, offers a scientifically grounded and integrated view of human development.  The Mindsight model provides a useful lens through which we can look at the physical, mental and energetic dynamics of the coaching relationship.  Dr. Siegel is a master synthesizer who has identified common themes across approximately 40 sciences to understand a larger truth about human relationships, conscious evolution and compassion.

In this workshop, the coach will use the Mindsight framework as a foundation for enhancing self-awareness, the ability to self-regulate and to establish stronger client partnerships.  Specifically, by completion of the 90-minute workshop, participants will:

1.    Become familiar with the Mindsight model and related key concepts.

2.    Be able to state how the application of mindfulness practice contributes toward the development of  Mindsight and greater coaching effectiveness
3.    Practice a set of mindfulness micro-practices that can be integrated into the coaching process before, during and after each session to build stronger client partnerships
