7 Curiosities To Help You Build Your Coaching Business

In my career, I have had the privilege of observing up close the germination of an idea or passion into full blown endeavors. I have compiled and aggregated these observations into 7 Curiosities. Now as an entrepreneur and executive coach, I continue to see these 7 Curiosities in play when entrepreneurs are struggling. Join me at the ICF North Seattle Chapter on Monday, September 19, 2016 at 6:30 pm, and let’s explore these 7 Curiosities and how they help you as you seek to build your coaching business. It is also an opportunity for you to bring your business questions to a supportive group, and obtain a different perspective on your sticky issue.

Hien DeYoung was a human resources strategist for 20 years. She partnered with entrepreneurs, founders, and CEOs as their head of human resources to build their human capital, and architect companies for growth and goal attainment that resulted in companies raising $300m in venture funding including an IPO. From leaders she worked with, Hien understood that her most differentiating contribution was her coaching. Executive and entrepreneurial coaching is a discipline and art that deeply resonates with her so she sought formal training at the Hudson Institute of Coaching and attained her executive coach certification in 2013.

The greatest satisfaction comes when Hien is partnering with entrepreneurs, founders, and CEOs to propel their ideas forward. In her executive and entrepreneurial coaching work with both men and women leaders, she enables them to be intentional about their highest objectives while navigating ambiguity, change, uncertainty, and growth in their businesses. As a catalyst she provokes leaders to sort through competing interests and self-limiting beliefs. Breakthroughs happen when leaders are open to all the options and opportunities available to them. Hien’s objective is to build her client’s leadership capabilities, emotional and mental resilience, and business acumen.
