What is ADHD Anyway & Why Do I Need to Know About It?

Some of what I will share:

  • What Attention Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (AD/HD) is
  • Ways it shows up in adults (and in your clients, too)
  • Why, as a coach, it is critical that you know what it is
  • Resources available to support both you and your clients

I will be sharing my personal and professional experience in the realm of ADHD, some of the thousands of hours of research & training I’ve received around this topic, in addition the powerful learning I have gleaned from the school of life.

I look forward to sharing this invaluable information with you on Monday, December 12th at the Bellevue Downtown Library 10:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. in Meeting Room 1.

Renee Crook is an AAC level ADHD Coach, trained by and graduated from ADD Coach Academy (ADDCA), the first and only 1 of 3 Accredited Coach Training Programs (ACTP) for ADHD Coach Training with the ICF, PAAC & CCE. In her former life, she was an Elementary Educator and Property Manager, then she found her new calling in ADHD Coaching & Adult ADHD Support Group Facilitation. She is a volunteer Virtual Support Group Facilitator & Member with ADDA (Attention Deficit Disorder Association) & Facilitates another in-person support group for parents in Bellevue. She also volunteers her time weekly at KCLS Study Zone as a tutor, in her niece’s elementary school classroom, and at the Seattle Area Feline Rescue.

Renee specializes in supporting adults, whose lives are impacted by ADHD or other Executive Function challenges. Her clients have mostly been diagnosed late in life with ADHD or are in the process of learning about what has been causing things to be so hard, for so long. They’ve struggled to plan, organize & manage their time. They’re working to overcome the shame they’ve experienced from a lifetime of “not measuring up and not reaching their potential.” They seek guidance to find their passions, uncover their strengths and then learn to leverage those to create solutions that will work for them. There is a warm & supportive environment within which to create their vision, and then to act on their plans and dreams
