Description of Webinar

Coach's know the importance of a clear agreement.  Ask yourself, what is the first agreement that you make with any new client?  It's your Coaching Agreement/Contract!

Was your contract drafted or reviewed by a business lawyer who knows the coaching community?  Chances are the answer is no.  I have been reviewing coaching contracts for some time and most that I review appear to be downloaded off the internet or “borrowed” from another coach.  Invariably the contracts have major problems and expose the coach to thousands of dollars in lost revenue AND expose them to hundreds of thousands of dollars in unexpected personal liability.  I will show you the basic clauses that ought to be in every coaching contract, and a few extra nuggets that will really help you.

Key Take Aways that Can Protect Your Business:

  • Establishing the coaching agreement.
  • Setting appropriate guidelines and parameters of the relationship including payment of fees and managing risk.
  • Drafting effective scopes of services so that it is clearly communicated to the client that coaching is not therapy, consulting or other professional services.
