Strengths Focused Workshop with Penny Rempfer, Ed.D., ACC

Do you want more out of life, but can’t seem to find the inner motivation to get there? Do you want to spend your time on what is most important and passionate to you? Do you also want to improve your productivity and the teams you work on as well?

Do you work with people who work in teams, who want to work better together? Do you want to focus on what is working well, rather than what is not working? Do you want your whole team to buy-in to a project to successfully and productively complete it?

In the presentation at North Satellite on Sept 18th, Penny facilitates a strengths focused workshop that addresses these issues.

According to Gallup Research, people who use their strengths every day are six times more likely to be engaged on the job. Teams that focus on their strengths are 12.5% more productive. A Strengths Workshop has been used at Boeing utilizing the core foundation of the Dependable Strengths Articulation Process. The workshop helps individuals identify their top strengths and provides a way to quickly share them within their teams.

You will experience key aspects of this workshop during this presentation. You will identify your unique top 4 strengths and learn about other coaches in your group. You will come away with an interactive exercise you can use with your clients focusing on strengths in an easy and conversational way. This workshop is useful for identifying and uncovering an individual’s strengths so that they can be successful in any way they want to be. Whether it is finding a new job, or finding that inner motivation to accomplish anything they want in life.

This presentation will give attendees ideas of how to elicit strengths from their clients interactively rather than using an assessment tool. They will learn of the measures used to collect the impact of focusing on strengths that were helpful in showing managers of teams who are interested in a strengths-based team approach. Attendees will learn another way to focus on strengths and see this impact with individuals and teams.

Penny has held tailored workshops for use in many organizations at Boeing, Board of Directors for Choral Sounds Northwest, Seattle University School of Education, across the community with Washington State Work First, and within families.
