About the panel:

Janet Harvey

Janet M. Harvey, ICF Master Certified Coach, Certified Mentor Coach, Accredited Coaching Supervisor, ICF Global Past President, has 30 years of experience as both a corporate and entrepreneurial business executive. Carol Hedley

Carol Hedly, program director of Microsoft Software & Systems Academy (MSSA) for Military Affairs at Microsoft, oversees MSSA, which prepares transitioning military personnel for jobs in the IT industry by focusing on IT training, resources and job placement opportunities. A 15-year Microsoft employee, Carol has designed and delivered award-winning leadership and executive development programs for Microsoft. Carol founded the Military Veterans at Microsoft Employee Resource Group and served as president for five years. Carol is a contributing author on “Coaching for Leadership: Writings on Leadership From the World’s Greatest Coaches” and “Lessons in Contemporary Leadership,” a collection of authentic leadership stories from senior Microsoft leaders.

Denise Tegel

Denise Tegel was an Executive and Leadership Coach for sixteen years at the Boeing Company.  As coaching became more known as an instrumental leadership development method, she was recruited to develop and manage a Leadership Coaching program for middle and first-level managers.  She established an experienced team of internal professional Boeing coaches with a charter to coach and support Operations managers with a focus on developing leaders to their highest potential, both professionally and personally, in alignment with the company’s desired business results.  After retiring from Boeing, Denise is now Principal of DMT Consulting, LLC, focusing on developing strong leaders and effective teams through individual and team coaching, leadership development and team effectiveness. 

Mikaela Kiner

Mikaela Kiner is a native Seattleite who’s spent the last fifteen years in HR leadership roles at Seattle based companies including Microsoft, Starbucks, Amazon, PopCap Games and Redfin. In 2015 she founded uniquelyHR, providing flexible HR for fast growing companies. uniquelyHR works with early stage startups and scale-ups offering HR consulting, leadership development, and executive coaching. Mikaela enjoys creative problem solving and is known for her empathy.
