Description of Course

Sleep like you mean it! Discover the hidden powers of sleep and use them with yourself and your clients

We all know that sleep affects our learning process, our memory, our ability to focus, and even our judgment or capacity to deal with emotions. Yet, we keep cutting corners, and many of us, coaches and clients alike, end up chronically sleep deprived but only vaguely aware of it.

What if we could find more compelling reasons for focusing on our own sleep and have our clients take sleep more seriously? What if the effect of sleep could be more tangible and measurable? Would that entice us to take action and prioritize sleep?

Just imagine what could happen if we all started to take sleep seriously and give it the importance it deserves.

What you will learn:

  • Most common obstacles to good quality sleep
  • Tangible, physical, and measurable effects of sleep (and lack of it!) on our body
  • Questions and tips to help recognize mild sleep deprivation
  • Strategies to prioritize sleep
  • Tips and ideas to improve sleep quality

About Stella

Stella Loichot is a mother of 3 girls, who has been thriving in Seattle since 2005 after spending most of her life in France. As a Health Coach and Weight Management Specialist, she works one-on-one with people who want to establish a healthier lifestyle to live fuller, longer, and happier lives. She uses a French approach to wellness to help her clients eat healthier, be more active, sleep better, and reduce stress, while enjoying all the great little things of life (such as chocolate, cheese, and wine!). Her work is based on pleasure and long-term satisfaction, rather than self-control and deprivation.

Stella’s coaching is built on 2 pillars: 0 guilt / 0 excuses. We are what we are, we love what we love, and whatever that is, it is totally fine!!! Now, we have goals and dreams, and to achieve them we have to take what we are and love, and make the best out of it, TODAY!

Stella is certified by the American Council on Exercise (ACE) and the ICF. She has a certification in Sports and Performance Nutrition from Washington State University and a background in the cooking world with 9 years as a Digital Content Manager at Allrecipes.com, where she created over 700 recipes and wrote many educational articles.
