Description of Course
Recent scientific research shows we have three brains, or fully functional neural networks, that inform our behaviors, decisions, and ways of being. “Trusting your gut” and “Following your heart” have roots in ancient traditions that are now proven by science to have influence over our Autonomic Nervous System.
The concepts of mBraining and mBIT (Multi-Braining Integration Techniques) as described by Grant Soosalu & Marvin Oka in their book “Using your Multiple Brains to do Cool Stuff” will be presented along with practical exercises for recognizing imbalance and aligning the three brains in order to improve one’s sense of well-being.

About Kelly
Kelly holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from SDSU and is the Lead Engineer for Northrop Grumman Field Operations at the Naval Base Kitsap-Bangor Trident Submarine Base. (Mostly, we launch UFOs.)
Kelly is also an Associate Certified Coach with ICF and provides internal coaching to her colleagues within Northrop Grumman as well as to mid-career professionals externally. Her role as a mechanical engineer in the maritime, aerospace and defense industries since 1991 has provided her with epic frustrations and satisfying accomplishments; “engineering” being a euphemism for never giving up and asking those provocative questions that uncover answers toward progress. This experience lends itself well to the field of professional coaching, where she utilizes her natural gifts of humor and intuition along with the practices of collaborative partnerships to reach goals.
