Description of Course
In today’s fast-moving professional environment, we're constantly surrounded by high-stakes change, leading to elevated levels of stress, and the risk of disengagement in us and the people with whom we work.
As a leader, how do you support your professional community?
Effective leaders must be able to thrive in spite of this instability, and inspire others to do so as well. It is not enough to understand the urgency; leaders need to shift from intention to practice.
The framework of Holistic Leadership introduces a theory and actionable strategies for leaders to promote transformation within themselves and their organizations.
The foundation for this work is Somatics which offers a cutting-edge approach for professionals to shift how they currently think, feel, and act, so they can start experiencing meaningful outcomes emerge from within stressful work environments.
In this workshop, you'll learn the basics of coaching clients through the holistic leadership lens, including somatic strategies which are grounded in the mind-body connection, and that address issues related to leadership.
- Effective communication
- Emotional intelligence
- Modifying behavior
- Navigating change
- Reducing stress
This workshop will provide a unique lens on the ICF Core Competency of Facilitating Learning and Results, in particular Creating Awareness and Designing Actions. You'll leave feeling empowered to support your clients' wellbeing and holistic leadership success.
