Please join us for a format of individual introductions and discussion, followed by a presentation and facilitated discussion with Marilyn Vancil:
Understanding the Enneagram and its application to coaching.
Marilyn Vancil will present a brief overview of The Enneagram, a tool of transformation that provides profound insights about the human personality. It reveals nine lenses through which we view life, ourselves, and others, going beyond outer behaviors to the inner motivations for why we think, act, and feel as we do. These motivations often indicate ways that we have hidden our true selves to create a persona to get love, acceptance, safety, and worth. The value of the Enneagram for coaches is in understanding ourselves at a deeper level, as well as helping our clients come to a new depth of insight about themselves, their lives, and the inner obstacles that block them from what they desire.
At this meeting, we will focus on the characteristics of each type and discover what that means for us personally. For those who are interested in determining their Enneagram type in advance of the meeting, the following resources have more information and self-tests:

Also, mark your calendars for forthcoming meetings: 3rd Mondays 11am - 1pm, i.e. July 18, Aug 15, Sept 19 at the same location.
