Description of Course
This workshop combines visual media and improv exercises to generate an embodied awareness and understanding of the brain’s executive function. Executive function is what helps us to regulate behavior and shape our everyday experience. People with ADHD (and other non-typical neuro-types) often suffer in their lives due to a deficit of executive function.
What you will learn:
During this workshop you will learn how to recognize some of the ways in which clients with ADHD present this deficit, how executive function works, and simple strategies for working with clients who identify with ADHD.
About Bruce
Bruce Hostetter ACC, an ICF Satellite leader, intern student with International ADHD Coach Training (Laurie Dupar PCC instructor), works with creatives of all types, both individually, one to one, and in organizations, one to many. Bruce's focus and specialized training is in the area of ADHD coaching. Bruce uses his training and experience in improv, Gestalt practices, and visual media to enhance his approach to presence based coaching.
