Description of Course

Coaching is based on successful communication between coach and coachee, coach and themselves, coachee and themselves and the external world.

In this talk we will go through key principles of communication to help us communicate better with our clients, help coachees create awareness of their feelings and needs and even improve their communication with themselves and external world. We will learn which words that we use daily may lead to defensive behavior and trigger negative feelings and which words can help coachee take back control of their lives.

This content is based on non-violent communication principles developed by Dr Marshall Rosenberg and my struggles observations during coaching practice in different countries around the world.

What you will learn:

  • ICF Competences and Compassionate Communication
  • Establishing the Coaching Agreement – how to communicate around coaching process to make client feel on ease
  • Establishing Trust and Intimacy with the Client – how to talk about feelings with clarity and to avoid making client defensive
  • Powerful Questioning – questions about feelings and needs, how to not confuse needs and strategies, feelings and thoughts
