In response to the ongoing events triggered by systemic racism and police brutality, we recognize it’s been an emotional time for us, our clients and our friends. We would like to create a space to listen and reflect where our members are at right now and co-create a better organization together. In partnership with our members, we need to understand what the meaningful action looks and feels like.

According to the ICF the definition of Coaching is "... partnering with clients in a thought-provoking and creative process that inspires them to maximize their personal and professional potential." Can we, with our hands on our hearts, say that we can truly inspire people to that, when the safety and humanity of the individuals is at risk? If the answer is NO, then there is a lot we can and should do. Let's figure it out together!

The call is facilitated by ICF WA Board members, we want to hear your voices on the following:

- How can we support ourselves (coaches) and our clients the best, during these emotionally charged times?

- As an organization whose vision is to become the most valuable and trusted resource for Coaches in the WA State, where would you like us to be in 6,12 and 24 months? Especially, who do we need to be serving? What will bring that trust and value for Coaches and BIPOC communities entering Coaching?

- Specifically, what would it be like to have a healthy percentage of black people in Coaching? What is our role in that?

Participation is free, zoom link will be provided upon registration. If you cannot attend the event, please send us an email with your thoughts (icfwa_va@yahoo.com).
