The satellite meeting is a setting where you can connect and discuss with other coaches the practice of coaching in an informal setting. Our format will be individual introductions and discussion followed by a presentation and facilitated discussion with Brittany Faulkner.
Brittany Faulkner will talk about her work with individuals and organizations focused on cultivating Happiness at Work, which she has put into a curriculum called LUNCH
Shift
. She will provide an overview of the Science of Happiness and why it matters, followed by a discussion with the group to talk about how this research and its applications could be meaningful to you in your work. You can see more about her work on her website <
http://www.withbritt.com/1.html
> .
Brittany Faulkner designed the curriculum for
LUNCH
Shift
and works as a coach, educator, speaker and artist living in Seattle. Her skills and experience stretch between the world of mind-body-spirit integration (in the right hemisphere) and the world of strategy and goal setting (on the left.) She has worked with the strategy and measurement team at the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, as an academic advisor at the University of Washington, as a massage therapist and yoga instructor, and is an artist and art instructor.
The satellite meeting is free of charge; donations for the use of the space are encouraged.
Also, mark your calendars for forthcoming meetings: December 12th and January 16th at the same location.
