Monday, November 9, 2020 - 10:30 - 12:30 pm on Zoom.  

In order to qualify for CCEU’s you will need to attend the entire meeting. We will be giving a code word at the beginning and another at the end. After the meeting there will be a short survey to fill out that will include the two code words. This will be our verification of attendance. If you are not interested in CCEU’s you do not need to take this extra step, just come and enjoy.

Description of Course

In this session Karen and Shannon will help coaches learn more about the changes and benefits in the ICF new core competencies, and help you  align your own practice to these new standards for coaching.  This is the first of a three-part series.  In this session we will go deep into the foundations competencies:  Demonstrates Ethical Practice & Embodies a coaching mindset.   The other two sessions will focus on Co-Creating Relationships & communication effectively and cultivating learning and Growth.

What you will learn:

  • What are the changes to the core competencies?
  • What are the next steps that ICF is taking to activate these changes and when?
  • How you can create an individual plan to incorporate these changes into your current coaching practice

Shannon, who you may know as the co-leader of the ICF WA eastside satellite group, is also the owner of Papilio Coaching where she focused on helping great marketers become great leaders.  Shannon is passionate about enabling personal and organizational transformation and helping her clients be intentional about their career and the organizational culture they want to build.   As a coach and consultant Shannon has worked with clients from Microsoft, LinkedIn, Apple, T-Mobile, Zillow and others and has facilitated workshops on purposeful leadership, storytelling, executive presence and leading through change.
