1.5 Core Competencies and .5 Resource Development CCEUs

Hosted by ICF Washington State, Coaches Bellingham Satellite

Description of Course

My favorite Brené Brown quote goes something like, “Our work of middle age, everything between 25 and 70, is to reintegrate all the parts of us we left behind in childhood.

Reclaiming access to these parts is essential to be the people, parents, professionals, and partners we want to be.“

Yet how does one reclaim those forgotten parts or help clients achieve this reintegration?

Voice Dialogue offers a pathway to

  • Uncover the selves waiting to be reintegrated into our lives.
  • Disengage from automatic reactive patterns and gain compassion, for ourselves and others, at a deep level.
  • Bring consciousness to our unconscious patterns, stories, and behaviors and create choice outside of duality thinking.
  • Grow and move forward.

Come Play with me and explore how to use Voice Dialogue for yourself and in your coaching practice.

This session will include:

The basics of Voice Dialogue work, so you can use it with clients.

  •  A short demonstration.
  • An exercise to identify primary and disowned parts, and how to recognize the gifts they off
  • Core competencies covered in this presentation:
  • Establish trust and intimacy by Practicing creating a safe and supportive environment with our clients.
  • Create a coaching presence that creates a spontaneous relationship with each self and show up confidently to each self without being overpowered.
  • Use language appropriate and respectful to each self we explore and ask questions that reflect our willingness to understand that self’s perspective
  • Create an awareness which identifies for the client each self’s underlying concerns and ways of perceiving the world.
  • Helps clients to discover for themselves the new thoughts, beliefs, and perceptions to strengthen their ability to take action and achieve what is important to them.
