The Cancer Journey Coaching Roadmap

When cancer strikes it touches everyone – cancer patients, survivors, caregivers and support teams. Rarely do we have a personal reference for how to relate to the experience. Everyone's a first timer, with lots of uncertainty and fear.

How does anyone deal with such a life set-back, without losing their sense of hope?

In this instructive and experiential session, Cancer Journey coach, David Kegley, will introduce new tools and concepts that help clients traverse the challenging treatment phase and transition back into their life while gaining a new or renewed sense of empowerment and clarity that's beyond the physical support.

Just being part of this experience will not only help you learn how to help people who suddenly find themselves bewildered and struggle to get present with you but also see your own life from a new perspective regardless of your current context.

In this session you will:

  • Develop a way to help clients see a crisis in the larger context of a journey.
  • Use a simple navigational tool to walk with your client through their ups and downs.
  • Get to know your coaching colleagues in a fun and meaningful way.
  • Practice a unique way to engage ICF core competencies.
  • Gain confidence to coach clients when they hit major set-backs in life.

Leading the session:
