Penny Rempfer, Ed.D., PCC

2.0 Core Competency CCEUs for this session

Description of Course

Did you know that people who use their strengths every day are 6 times more likely to be engaged on the job? And they only use their strengths 20% of the time? Imagine if they used their strengths 30%, 50% or 60% of the time!

This Strengths Workshop is utilizing the core foundation of the Dependable Strengths Articulation Process, developed by Bernard Haldane, Ph.D. This process enables individuals to identify their most valued pattern of personal strengths, articulate them and quickly share them with their teams.

In this interactive session you’d move from identifying and valuing your own strengths experientially to exploring the ways you can incorporate this in your coaching practice.

This is a proven practice. I have held facilitated workshops for use in many organizations at Boeing, Board of Directors of Choral Sounds Northwest, Seattle University School of Education, across the community with Washington State Work First and even with families.

In this session participants will:

• Begin to identify your unique pattern strengths and learn about the strengths of other coaches in your group.

• Learn an interactive exercise that can help your clients focus on strengths in an easy and conversational way.

• Learn to use reflection, storytelling, and sharing perspective on what is said and heard.

• Learn the process of identifying and uncovering an individual’s strengths so that they can leverage them for success at work and in life.

• How to enhance your coaching practice using yours and your clients’ strengths.
