Description of Event

The purpose of BIPOC Coaches Connect is to co-create spaces for BIPOC (Black, Indigenous, People of Color) coaches to heal, share knowledge and resources, and amplify each other . This will be our fourth BIPOC Coaches Connect meeting and since the first one in December 2020, we have forged new connections and conversations, formed the ICFWA Coaching Equity Working Group and begun the work of focusing on the things that matter to us as BIPOC coaches. This is great progress. In this spirit, we will take time to come together as a community, to pause and to stop and take time to reflect on 2021, and to recharge and reset our mindset as we look toward 2022.

Who should attend?

Anyone who identifies as a BIPOC (Black, Indigenous, People of Color) coach. Any BIPOC coach interested in building community and co-creating the ICFWA Coaching Equity Working Group. If you were not able to join the first three BIPOC Coaches Connect, it’s not too late to get on board! We would love to see you this time!

If you are not a BIPOC coach and are interested in DEI (diversity, equity, and inclusion) development in coaching, please watch out for future events.

The format of BIPOC Coaches Connect 4 will be quite open. We'll briefly share the progress of the Equity Work Group and direction moving forward. We invite you to come as you are, connect with others, and together, we can co-create strategies to close out 2021 and look forward to 2022!

This event will be co-facilitated by  Erica Goos, Joseph Castro and Viviane Lopuch, members of the ICFWA Coaching Equity Working Group and BIPOC Coaches Connect
