In this topical and fascinating session, we'll learn about and discuss the latest understandings of neuroscience, for answers to some key coaching-related questions:
· What makes the brain amenable to change?
· How do we learn best?
· How do we support change in others?
Sarah Peyton, independent facilitator, offers workshops and teleseminars that integrate the latest brain research with Nonviolent Communication, focusing on the transformative power of words and empathy. She studies in the IPNB program at PSU, and privately with Bonnie Badenoch and Allan Schore. She has been a regular contributor on IPNB and NVC in the GAINS (Global Association of Interpersonal Neurobiology Studies) Quarterly, and is currently on the faculty of Birthingway Midwifery College. Her work focuses on how we hear and understand one another, effective ways to connect hearts, and what the cutting edge of neuroscience has to tell us about what happens in relationship. Her presentations are fun and inspiring, and she makes the abstract information about what happens in the brain accessible for all.
