An Image Reveals More Than Words
Art Based Coaching
Tuesday, September 19, 2023, 12:00 PM - 1:30 PM
A symbol or image can reveal more than words. We are hard wired to respond to images. This is because our earliest form of language was cave painting. Our mind understands the abstract and is better able to open the space for something new to arrive. This presentation introduces a number of art based approaches that can be used on a personal and professional level. Attendees will experience a metacognitive drawing process. Walk away with strategies and practices that can be applied to a coaching practice and personal life.

Our Presenter:
Kathleen Quinn-Matus
Kathleen studied both psychology and art in undergraduate. She later went on to pursue her MFA along with NYS education credential. As a graduate from Syracuse she was part of the SU faculty. She teams with professionals who aspire to be a part of the evolutionary story of 'what's to come' for themselves and for their communities. Kathleen's other passion is painting at her lakeside studio and offering creativity workshops for small groups.
