The underlying philosophy is that by focusing on strengths rather than weaknesses, and by developing these strengths in combinations, one can expect exponential improvements in leadership skill.
Participants will examine in detail some of the competency areas all leaders must have including character, personal capability and interpersonal skills, and review career derailers that lead to failure in leadership. This workshop offers an optimal balance of introduction, small group discussion, and experiential exercises to maximize the learning experience. By the end of the morning you will:
Understand basic core competencies of great leaders
Gain insight into coaching personal leadership strengths
Build a conceptual bridge for how values and character affect leaders, teams, and organizations
Learn how to develop multiple strengths
Learn about ethical leadership
Gain an understanding of personal capability
