We are excited to share information with you on volunteer opportunities for ICF Washington State, including open board positions and other leadership roles. We invite you to contribute to the meaningful evolution of the chapter and the coaching community in ways that align with your passion.
If you are aligned with our mission and are interested in any of the roles, please submit your application by 5:00 p.m. PST October 18th.
Our Mission:
To evolve the coaching profession through programs that develop meaningful relationships, equity, and self-transforming mindsets so that coaches, community, and members cultivate broader societal change.
In line with ICF’s vision to create “a world where coaching is integral to transforming societies,” ICF Washington Chapter’s mission seeks to contribute to social change and embody equity, belonging, and sustainable diversity in how we lead, work, and relate with each other.
As a volunteer-run organization, we believe in serving with vision, executing strategically, achieving relationally, and leading collectively with humble courage so that we can bridge differences and embrace the healthy conflict needed for gradual change.
Why Volunteer?
Throughout history, meaningful change has been pioneered by passionate volunteers. As Gandhi stated, “[t]he best way to find yourself is to lose yourself in the service of others.” Volunteering reveals what we care about. It gives us opportunities to connect authentically with each other because it is not about personal gain or transactional outcomes. And, if we believe in a continuous process of redefining who we are, part of our identity and purpose comes from what we are willing to contribute to because it reveals what truly motivates us.
Exciting Time to join the Board
As ICF Washington Chapter continues to grow and evolve, our Board is also transforming - continuously shifting from an operational focus to a strategic, leading board. This means that we’re looking for dedicated volunteers who are not only skilled in their respective areas but also passionate about shaping the future of our organization with equity in its center. By taking on a board role, you’ll have the opportunity to make a real impact and help shape the direction of ICFWA. Whether it’s developing strategic plans, fostering partnerships, or inspiring innovation, your leadership will be instrumental in helping us achieve our goals. You’ll also have the chance to build teams that drive sustainable operations, ensuring we’re well-equipped to meet the evolving needs of our members and community. If you’re looking for a chance to stretch your skills, build new connections, and contribute to something meaningful, then this is an excellent opportunity for you.
